My University education began at Chon-Namn National University, South Korea, where I studied Korean painting. Much of my work started with traditional techniques with stone colour with glue, but I also studied modern Korean art.

I started my artistic career at Kwang ju Art High School, where I mostly studied Oriental Painting.
