I was in India between 1996 and 2000, where I studied at Visva-Bharati National University, Santiniketan, India. There I studied mural painting, tempera, fresco, cement, enamel and terracota work. The 4 years I spent there exposed me to many artistic influences. I also had the good fortune to travel throughout India and through to Nepal, so was able to experience much of the culture of that sub-continent at first hand.
